Quilt Show Directory ("we," "us," or "our") operates quiltshowdirectory.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit an event or contact us, we collect the information you voluntarily provide — such as event details, your name, and email address. We use this only to process your submission or respond to your inquiry.
Automatically collected information
Like most websites, we automatically receive standard server log information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this data solely for site operation, security, and aggregate analytics.
Cookies and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve site functionality. Specifically:
- Google AdSense — We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the web. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, how visitors arrived, etc.). Google Analytics sets cookies and reports aggregate, non-identifying statistics to us. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Preferences — We store your search preferences (location, radius, view mode) in your browser's local storage so you don't have to re-enter them each visit. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
